EP CONCEPT:

A project for your daydreams. For when you zone out and you’re lost in your own thoughts. Ceiling art is the visions you see in your own mind when staring at the ceiling, or the wall, or the sky, or anywhere you start picturing moments in your life worth thinking about. These songs are meant to be made your own firstly, and try to enhance whatever visions you see in your mind already.

‘MUSIC FOR CEILING ART’ started as an Idea back in June 2023 when I was going into my last year of university. I had to start thinking about writing my final thesis and a topic that I was interested in to make the process easier to write about. I’ve always been a musician, and being a multi-instrumentalist is something that I am very proud of. It shaped how I viewed making music and I always loved the different languages that came with each instrument.

Naturally, a mix of techniques and inspirations creates something unique; almost indescribable. The idea of trying to push what can be recieved by an audience was interesting.

I decided there that I would want to look into the idea of “Genreless music” and how an artist can release that type of music in a coheisive and interesting way for people to still connect with.
